Hello

I like to describe myself as an accidental musician.   I wanted to learn piano in high school but the rare times I tried  to play piano it seemed an impossible thing to do so I told myself that playing a musical instrument was not for me. Years later I  thought of learning to play the  violin so when my local only music shop was closing and selling all their stock at half price I decided to go buy a violin. I was disappointed when they told me they had just sold the last violin that day. I told my self that I could not leave empty handed when a cute white ukulele caught my eye. I decided to buy it and I asked for an instruction book and was dismayed when I was told they had none and I should look up videos on the internet. I bought the ukulele and after several attempts at tuning it and playing it I was sure I had lost my money . Anyway I preserved and  a year later was preforming at open mic at my local  ukulele club accompanied by a drummer and ukulele bass player. I absolutely love being on stage.

I enquired about studying music at university and  was told ukulele was not an instrument recognized for study. REALLY!  The university student adviser suggested I learn guitar for six months then audition to study music. So here I am now playing and loving guitar. 

  Anyway I will post more on this but for now this is me an aspiring guitarist on a journey from amature 2 pro.
